I have always been a lover of colour and design. My love of colour dates back to when I was a child — spending much of my time in my bedroom — colouring in, creating the best title pages for my projects and making cards. Every time I went to our local hardware store — I'd collect a mountain of paint colour swatches just because they made me happy. And getting a new set of textas and coloured pencils at the start of the school year was my favourite thing to do — even though I had masses of stationery already! To this day, I still get lit up when I walk into a colour store like Laminex and see all of the colour swatches on display. The little girl inside of me still wants to go and collect them all. And now as a adult, I'm lucky enough to have created my own colour studio at home where I surround myself with colour samples of all sorts every day and it still makes me feel like a kid in a candy shop.
Being around colour really is my happy place. I have been lucky enough to spend the first half of my career working as a Graphic Designer and serial renovator — which gave me an incredible foundation in colour and design and decision making skills. The second half of my career is dedicated to working as a certified Personal Colour Stylist and Colour Consultant for homes. I love helping people find the perfect colours for themselves and their homes and seeing how the right colour can lift you up and make you feel amazing. My ultimate goal is two fold - One to enhance women's self-esteem through the power of colour, as I believe that wearing the right colours can instill a newfound sense of confidence and joy in you; and Two - I really want to help people create a home that they love and feel safe in.
